If only the verse is John 7 about judging was as famous as the verse in Matthew 7, there would be less misunderstanding.
1Corinthians is consistent that we must let God judge, but echo His judgments as we "judge" righteously.
The world likes to apply their version of "Judge not" but don't want anything to do with "Judge with righteous judgement."
