Christ’s First Item on His “To-do” List

Luke 15, the Lost Sheep, the Lost Coin, the Lost Son.
All humanity was lost and Jesus searches for each soul.
Luke 19:10  for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

All believers are called to fight the culture war, though each does so differently.

Fighting the Culture War as a "Joshua" or "Caleb".
The American Church no longer needs to scout out the land.  We already know their is wickedness and corruption everywhere.  
America cannot afford to miss this window of opportunity.  

Who deserves God's mercy? Nobody. But we ask for it in God's will.

What does the Bible teach about how to pray for our enemies?  To repent. 
Intercessory prayer includes praying for people to repent.
God looks for co-laborers.  
 

Intercession in the face of God's judgment

How does God mercy manifest when we have provoked His Judgment?
Intercession in the face of God's judgment, the Church's sacred role.
Does Moses dare try to advise God?
 

"Give us this day our daily giants."

We all have giants especially if you are taking ground for the purposes of God. 
When they threaten you, realize, like Caleb, they are your bread! 
Defeating giants are our Daily Bread!

Sour attitudes = missed opportunities

Attitude affects destiny.
Fear and sour attitudes caused the children of Israel to miss their key opportunity.  
How fear and complaining causes failures.

The coming revival will be valuing the Bible both in the Church and in society.

Without a commitment to the Bible a church will turn from its true purpose.
Without a commitment to the Bible America will turn from its true purpose.
The importance of a Biblical Worldview today!
We can't live up to the standards in the Bible in our own strength but we can't explain the standards away.

Loving God’s Law repels Pharisaicalismi

Live in God’s Glorious Grace with victory over sin.
Understand God’s Grace and its relationship to His Law.
Loving God’s Law does make you at risk of being a Pharisee but actually repels Pharisaicalism in your heart.
God's Marvelous Purpose for His Law.

The world likes to apply their version of "Judge not" but...

If only the verse is John 7 about judging was as famous as the verse in Matthew 7, there would be less misunderstanding.
1Corinthians is consistent that we must let God judge, but echo His judgments as we "judge" righteously.
The world likes to apply their version of "Judge not" but don't want anything to do with "Judge with righteous judgement."  

Judge righteously. Get good at it!

The gospel of John is consistent that Jesus didn't judge but simply re-stated the Father's judgments.
